Football Game Preview: Blue Ridge Tigers vs. Leonard Tigers + How To Watch

Blue Ridge is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They came out on top against Jacksboro by a score of 48-41. Winning may never get old, but Blue Ridge sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

It was another big night for Jacob Walker, who rushed for 279 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 12.1 yards per carry. Those three rushing touchdowns gave him a new career-high. Liam Finan was another key player, throwing for 77 yards and a pair of TDs.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Blue Ridge was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 422 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 150 rushing yards in nine consecutive games.

Blue Ridge didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Tyse Lennon and Andrew Gaddis.

Meanwhile, Leonard was able to grind out a solid win over Holliday on Thursday, taking the game 41-34.

Blue Ridge's victory bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Leonard, their win bumped their record up to 8-4.

Blue Ridge didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Leonard when the teams last played back in October, but they still walked away with a 32-27 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Blue Ridge since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
