Volleyball Recap: Columbus East Picks Up Third Straight Win on the Road

Columbus East won the last time they faced Whiteland and things went their way on Monday too. The Olympians walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Warriors.

While Columbus East might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Whiteland scored at least 19 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 19-25, 25-20, 25-21.

Whiteland's loss came despite strong showings from Henry Zauk and Lal Rin Mawia Ralte. Zauk had nine assists and seven digs, while Rin Mawia Ralte had seven digs.

Columbus East pushed their record up to 8-10 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Whiteland, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-9 record this season.
