Volleyball Recap: Westminster Wolves vs. Rangeview Raiders
Westminster was the 3-1 winner over Rangeview when they last played one another back in March of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Wolves took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Raiders on Saturday.
While Westminster ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-19.
Juan Gonzales paced Westminster's offense, picking up six kills. Gonzales got some help from Adrian Vannavong and his seven assists. Finally, Isaac Lopez kept Westminster's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.
Westminster's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Rangeview, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.
