Preview: East Robertson Indians vs. Christian Community Colts
The East Robertson Indians's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Christian Community Colts at 4:00 p.m. on December 29th. East Robertson will be strutting in after a win while Christian Community will be coming in after a defeat.
On December 12th, East Robertson got the win against White House-Heritage by a conclusive 60-39. Given East Robertson's advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 129th, while White House-Heritage is ranked 275th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Christian Community unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Thursday. They were dealt a 60-20 loss at the hands of Greenbrier.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from M.J. Dodd, who scored four points. Another player making a difference was Alexis Myers, who scored six points.
East Robertson now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Christian Community, their loss dropped their record down to 8-5.
Everything came up roses for East Robertson against Christian Community in their previous meeting back in December of 2022 as the team secured a 69-39 win. Does East Robertson have another victory up their sleeve, or will Christian Community turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
