Football Recap: Traverse City West Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After soaring to 40 points the game before, Traverse City West was a bit more limited in their match on Friday. They were outmatched by the Grand Blanc Bobcats and fell 49-6. While losing is never fun, the Titans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 140th, while the Bobcats are ranked 19th).

Jake Morrow had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 61 yards and four scores, while also throwing for 210 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 90.9% of his passes for Grand Blanc. Those four rushing touchdowns gave Morrow a new career-high. Jeremiah Coleman was another key player, rushing for 67 yards and one TD.

Traverse City West's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Grand Blanc, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Coming up, Traverse City West will face off against Midland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Grand Blanc, they will challenge Everett at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Vikings' defense has only allowed 14 points per game this season, so the Bobcats' offense will have their work cut out for them.
