Baseball Recap: Mosley Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Mosley can now relate to. They took a 10-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Niceville Eagles on Sunday. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Dolphins, who until this matchup were averaging 3.6 runs allowed.

Xavier Demro made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 3-for-5 with one home run, three runs, and two RBI. CJ Harris was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

This is the second loss in a row for Mosley and nudges their season record down to 21-9. As for Niceville, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 23-8.

Mosley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Niceville, they will face off against Lincoln at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
