Pepperell was the 2-0 winner over Alexander when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Dragons fell 2-0 to the Cougars on Saturday. The Dragons' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Pepperell's defeat dropped their record down to 16-12. As for Alexander, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-14 record this season.

Pepperell will square off against Temple at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Alexander, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Douglas County at 5:30 p.m. on the 30th.
