Basketball Game Preview: Crown Point Bulldogs vs. Lake Central Indians

The Crown Point Bulldogs will head out on the road to face off against the Lake Central Indians at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Crown Point's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three matches.

Fans were treated to a Battle of the Bulldogs on Saturday. Crown Point came out on top against Brownsburg by a score of 70-63. Given Crown Point's advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked sixth, while Brownsburg is ranked 63rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Lake Central sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 55-53 victory over Hammond Central on Tuesday.

Crown Point better keep an eye on Noah Enyeart. He was instrumental in Lake Central's win, going 7-for-13 on his way to 21 points and eight boards. Enyeart has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was Zachary Greene, who went 6-for-10 en route to 15 points and seven boards.

Crown Point's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-2. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.6 points over those games. As for Lake Central, their record is now 7-12.

Crown Point couldn't quite finish off Lake Central in their previous meeting back in February of 2024 and fell 32-30. Can Crown Point avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
