Joel Nunez Game Report: vs Porterville

Passers beware: Joel Nunez came down with his first-ever interception on Friday and he's no doubt on the hunt for more. He also forced two fumbles and made six total tackles which he returned one-yard for a touchdown, helping propel Wasco past Porterville by a score of 14-7. We hope Nunez's good performance is the first of many we'll see posted here on MaxPreps.com.

Coming up, Nunez and Wasco will take on Ridgeview at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The last time Nunez duked it out with the Wolf Pack (back in August of 2024), the Tigers came out on top by a score of 22-14.
