Basketball Recap: Manson Takes a Loss

Manson lost against Okanogan back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Manson Trojans were outmatched by the Okanogan Bulldogs and fell 72-16. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 293rd, while the Bulldogs are ranked 115th).

Manson has traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season. As for Okanogan, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-6.

When Manson and Okanogan next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Manson will try to stop Cascade's three-game winning streak when the meet at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Okanogan will take on Brewster and their 11-game winning streak at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
