Basketball Recap: Tharptown Takes a Loss

Tharptown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 18th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Cherokee Indians 65-36. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 48-31 back in December of 2024.

Tharptown's loss dropped their record down to 0-17. As for Cherokee, they pushed their record up to 13-11 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home.

Tharptown wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 50-40 defeat against Winston County on the 30th. Cherokee has also already played their next match, a 66-55 loss against Belgreen on the 30th.
