Hampton Roads Academy won the last time they faced Cape Henry Collegiate and things went their way on Tuesday too. Everything went the Hampton Roads Academy Navigators' way against the Cape Henry Collegiate Dolphins as the Hampton Roads Academy Navigators made off with a 49-28 win. The Navigators have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 21 points or more this season.

Leading Hampton Roads Academy to victory were Kenzie Cooper and Zuriel Pendleton-Morant. Cooper almost dropped a double-double on 24 points and nine rebounds, while Pendleton-Morant posted ten points along with seven steals and five boards. Cooper is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down nine or more in the last four games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Nalani Carter, who put up six points and 14 rebounds.

Hampton Roads Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 12 offensive rebounds in nine consecutive matches.

Hampton Roads Academy's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-2. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 22.5 points per game. As for Cape Henry Collegiate, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hampton Roads Academy has already played their next contest (against Nansemond-Suffolk Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Cape Henry Collegiate will venture away from home to take on Norfolk Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Norfolk Christian will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Cape Henry Collegiate surely won't give up without a fight.
