Baseball Recap: Hilbert Wolves vs. Shiocton Chiefs
Hilbert lost against Shiocton last Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Wolves fell just short of the Chiefs by a score of 7-6.
Brody Hein was huge no matter where he played even without the win. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over four innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits (and not a single walk). Hein was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-4.
In other batting news, Peter Kesler was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.
