Basketball Recap: Quakertown Snaps Nine-Game Streak of Losses at Home

There's no place like home for Quakertown, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They walked away with a 59-51 win over the Springfield Township Spartans on Friday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Panthers as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Quakertown's win ended a nine-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-10. As for Springfield Township, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Quakertown will challenge Council Rock North at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Springfield Township, they will venture away from home to square off against Pennridge at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
