Volleyball Game Preview: Riverdale Chieftains vs. New Lisbon Rockets

The Riverdale Chieftains will be taking part in a tournament against the New Lisbon Rockets at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Riverdale lost 3-0 to Mineral Point on Thursday. The defeat continues a trend for the Chieftains in their meetings with the Pointers: they've now lost nine in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-17, 25-14.

Meanwhile, New Lisbon came up short against Wonewoc-Center on Thursday, falling 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-13, 25-17.

Riverdale's loss dropped their record down to 14-19. As for New Lisbon, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-21.

Riverdale came out on top in a nail-biter against New Lisbon in their previous meeting back in September, sneaking past 2-1. Will the Chieftains repeat their success, or do the Rockets have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
