Volleyball Game Preview: Crenshaw Cougars vs. George Washington Prep Generals

Crenshaw is 0-4 against George Washington Prep since March of 2023 but things could change on Monday. The Cougars will host the Generals at 4:30 p.m.

Crenshaw came up short against Harbor Teacher on Friday, falling 3-0. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-17, 25-16.

Meanwhile, George Washington Prep hadn't done well against Locke recently (they were 0-5 in their previous five matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Generals sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Saints.

George Washington Prep's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Crenshaw, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Crenshaw couldn't quite get it done against George Washington Prep in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 as they fell 3-1. Can the Cougars avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
