Softball Recap: Sealy Tigers vs. Fort Bend Willowridge Eagles
Sealy entered their tilt with Fort Bend Willowridge on Friday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They never let the Eagles get on the board and left with a 19-0 victory. With that win, the Tigers brought their scoring average up to 6.2 runs per game.
Charlee Ramos was a major factor no matter where she played. She struck out six batters over two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-1.
In other batting news, Karly Kram12 and Kara Kram13 did most of the damage at the plate: Kram12 scored two runs and stole three bases while going 2-for-2, while Kram13 went a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple. That's the most stolen bases Kram12 has posted since back in March of 2024. Nathaly Velazquez also deserves some recognition as she launched her first home run of the season.
