Effingham and Mahomet-Seymour are an even 5-5 against one another since October of 2015, but not for long. The Hearts will head out on the road to face off against the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 60 yards. Another pass catcher making a difference was Maxx Kistler, who picked up 108 receiving yards and a pair of scores.
Mahomet-Seymour had taken Mt. Zion down for two straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Friday. The Bulldogs fell 35-23 to the Braves.
With the defeat, Effingham broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 3-2. As for Mahomet-Seymour, they now have a losing record of 2-3.
Effingham was dealt a bruising 49-0 loss at the hands of Mahomet-Seymour in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Thankfully for the Hearts, Lucas Dyer (who threw for 331 yards and four TDs while picking up 13.8 yards per attempt) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
