Basketball Recap: Snake River Extends Winning Streak to Three

Snake River entered their tilt with Teton on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 53-44 win over the Teton Timberwolves. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 53-44 back in December of 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Teton lost, don't look at Luke Nelson. Despite the final result, he went 8 of 17 on his way to 23 points and five steals. Nelson continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last five games he's played. Bradley Brown was another key player, putting up ten points and three steals.

Snake River's victory bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Teton, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-4.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Snake River Panthers face off against the South Fremont Cougars at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Teton, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Ririe at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
