Basketball Game Preview: Western Dubuque Bobcats vs. Dubuque Senior Rams

Western Dubuque hasn't had much luck against Dubuque Senior recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Western Dubuque Bobcats will be playing in front of their home fans against the Dubuque Senior Rams at 7:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Western Dubuque is headed into Tuesday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Friday. They had to suffer through a 71-31 loss at the hands of Cedar Falls. The game marked the Bobcats' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, Dubuque Senior's undefeated season came to an end after four games on Saturday. They lost 65-42 to Northwest. The loss was the Rams' first of the season.

Dubuque Senior's loss ended an 11-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-1. As for Western Dubuque, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5.

Western Dubuque might still be hurting after the 62-42 loss they got from Dubuque Senior when the teams last played back in January of 2024. Can Western Dubuque avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
