Volleyball Recap: South Allegheny's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Three + How To Watch

South Allegheny entered their tilt with Carlynton on Thursday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Cougars by a score of 3-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 on September 2nd.

South Allegheny was especially dominant in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 22-25, 25-11, 25-18.

Regan Mcbeth paced South Allegheny's offense, picking up 14 kills. Mcbeth got some help from Ava Luft and her 28 assists. Ava Brown controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

South Allegheny's win bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Carlynton, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Allegheny will welcome Keystone Oaks at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Carlynton, they will be playing in front of their home fans against South Side at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
