Baseball Recap: Faribault Comes Up Short

Faribault was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 14-1 to the Mayo Spartans. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Falcons of the 17-10 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2025.

Faribault's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Mayo, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Coming up, Faribault will welcome Jordan at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Mayo, they are headed away from home for the first time to challenge Century at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
