It was a good run, but Jordan unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 76-72 hit to the loss column at the hands of Hiawatha Collegiate. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Hubmen / Jaguars came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 49th, while Hiawatha Collegiate are ranked 144th).

Jordan's loss dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Hiawatha Collegiate, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jordan will take on Watertown-Mayer at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hiawatha Collegiate, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Twin Cities Academy/Great River at 7:00 p.m. on February 27th.
