Shawnee Heights extended their winning streak to six games thanks to a huge performance from Jaret Sanchez. The Shawnee Heights Thunderbirds simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat the Turner Golden Bears 97-47 thanks in part to Sanchez, who posted 28 points. His evening made it eight games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points.

Turner lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Mekhi Follick, who went 5 of 11 on his way to 12 points and five boards. Follick is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 45% in the last three games he's played. Tyland Mcgee was another key player, going 5 for 8 to rack up 10 points and eight rebounds.

Shawnee Heights' victory bumped their record up to 12-2. As for Turner, their loss dropped their record down to 3-10.

Shawnee Heights didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 78-48 win against Lansing on the 7th. As for Turner, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 69-41 defeat against Seaman on the 7th.
