Soccer Recap: Tuesday's Victory Is Saint Andrew's Seventh in Last Nine Outings

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Saint Andrew walked away with it. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Westminster Academy Lions on Tuesday. That's more bragging rights for the Scots, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Brie Berman and Giselle Bland scored both of Saint Andrew's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 14 goals.

Saint Andrew's has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. As for Westminster Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-9-1.

Saint Andrew's will face off against St. John Paul II Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. St. John Paul II Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.7 goals per game this season. Westminster Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
