Softball Game Preview: Franklin Admirals vs. Centennial Cougars

The Franklin Admirals are taking a road trip to square off against the Centennial Cougars at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Franklin hasn't scored more than a single run for three games straight, a trend the squad is eager to reverse.

Franklin lost 7-1 to Harpeth on Wednesday.

Addison Myers was huge no matter where she played even without the win. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over six innings pitched. Myers was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing Three bases.

Meanwhile, Centennial fell victim to Nolensville and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Knights, falling 15-0. The Cougars have struggled against the Knights recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meetings.

Franklin's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Centennial, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Franklin might still be hurting after the 10-0 defeat they got from Centennial when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can Franklin avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
