Prairie City-Monroe put their dominant pitchers on display in the team's third consecutive shutout on Friday. They never let the Saydel Eagles get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. Considering the Mustangs have won nine matchups by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Prairie City-Monroe's victory bumped their record up to 12-1. As for Saydel, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-10.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Prairie City-Monroe is set to take on their familiar foe Perry at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Saydel will face off against rival South Hamilton at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
