Soccer Game Preview: Maple Valley vs. Quincy

The Maple Valley Lions will head out on the road to challenge the Quincy Orioles at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.

Maple Valley is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They fell just short of Bronson by a score of 4-3 on Wednesday. Maple Valley have struggled against Bronson recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Quincy kept a clean sheet against Bronson on Monday. They put the hurt on the Vikings with a sharp 4-0 win. Quincy might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three contests by three goals or more this season.

Maple Valley's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Quincy, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season.

Maple Valley might still be hurting after the 8-0 defeat they got from Quincy when the teams last played back in May of 2025. Can the Lions avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
