Softball Game Preview: Burleson Elks vs. Deer Park Deer

The Burleson Elks will challenge the Deer Park Deer at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Burleson kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They lost 13-3 to Boswell. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Elks have suffered against the Pioneers since May 2, 2019.

Meanwhile, Deer Park unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They fell 6-1 to La Porte on Tuesday.
