Basketball Recap: Knippa Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Ingram Moore, Knippa was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the D'Hanis Cowboys 53-50. This was payback for the Crushers, who suffered a 33-29 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Knippa now has a winning record of 8-7. As for D'Hanis, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-3.

The future could be bright for both Knippa and D'Hanis: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. Knippa will try to hand Rocksprings their fifth-straight defeat when the two meet at 2:30 p.m. on December 30th. Meanwhile, D'Hanis will look to extend Sabinal's three-game losing streak when the meet at 1:30 p.m. on December 27th.
