Recap: Wildwood Wildcats vs. P.K. Yonge Blue Wave
Make it nine blowout wins for the Wildwood Wildcats this season. They breezed by P.K. Yonge at home to the tune of 62-24. The victory was familiar territory for Wildwood who now have eight in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Wildwood to victory, but perhaps none more so than Essiance Jasper, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Adejah Corbin, who scored 12 points along with five steals.
Wildwood has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season. As for P.K. Yonge, their loss dropped their record down to 11-6.
Wildwood will head out on the road to take on Mount Dora Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Mount Dora Christian Academy is on a four-game streak of home wins, Wildwood a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. P.K. Yonge will take on Hawthorne at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
