The Wasatch Wasps will head out on the road to square off against the Orem Tigers at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Wasatch is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.3 runs per game this season.

Wasatch will head out to face Orem after giving up their first home loss of the season on Thursday. The Wasps lost 7-1 to Maple Mountain. The Wasps have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Wasatch saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kyren Stocking, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one double.

Meanwhile, Orem made easy work of Timpview on Thursday and carried off a 13-3 victory. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won seven contests by six runs or more so far this season.

The win made it two in a row for Orem and bumps their season record up to 12-7. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 3 runs in those games. As for Wasatch, the defeat was their first at home , dropping their record down to 12-7.
