Volleyball Recap: Miramonte Comes Up Short

Miramonte lost against Las Lomas back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Matadors fell 3-1 to the Knights. The Matadors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The final score came out to 25-15, 23-25, 25-20, 25-20.

Las Lomas found their leader in sophomore Jayden Chung, who had ten aces and five digs. Another player making a difference was Dylan Pierce, who had nine digs and one assist.

Miramonte's defeat dropped their record down to 3-20. As for Las Lomas, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 14-4.

Coming up, Miramonte will welcome Clayton Valley Charter at 6:30 p.m. on the 16th. As for Las Lomas, they will venture away from home to face off against St. Patrick-St. Vincent at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
