Flag Football Recap: Portal Takes a Loss

The Portal Panthers took a blow against the Greenbrier Wolfpack on Thursday, falling 44-7. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia flag football rankings (they are ranked 85th, while the Wolfpack are ranked first).

Portal's loss dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Greenbrier, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-2.

Portal has already played their next contest, a 25-0 defeat against Grovetown on the 30th. As for Greenbrier, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 26-0 win against Pace Academy on the 30th.
