Universal gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Thursday. They blew past the Horizon Science Academy-Southwest Huskies 7-0. Khalil Hamad was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

Universal has already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Morris on the 30th. As for Horizon Science Academy-Southwest, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 9-0 victory against DuSable/Chicago Military Academy-Bronzeville on the 29th.
