Volleyball Recap: Tshego Mhaladi and Clara Conner Secure Win for Principia

Principia's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Lutheran North Crusaders. For the Panthers, this counts as revenge for the 3-0 win the Crusaders walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-21, 16-25, 25-17.

Leading Principia to victory were Clara Conner and Tshego Mhaladi. Conner had seven digs and five aces, while Mhaladi had seven digs. Those five aces gave Conner a new career-high.

Principia is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2-2 record this season. As for Lutheran North, they dropped their record down to 2-7 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Principia didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Roosevelt on the 23rd. Lutheran North has also already played their next game (against Ritenour), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
