Centauri put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They took their game with ease, bagging a 56-20 victory over the Pagosa Springs Pirates. The Falcons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Centauri's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Troy Sowards led the charge by shooting 55% from the field on his way to 12 points along with seven assists and five steals. Those five steals gave Sowards a new career-high. Carson Bagwell was another key player, going 7-for-10 en route to 18 points and six rebounds.

Sowards wasn't the only one working in the assist department: Centauri was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Pagosa Springs only five assists.

When it comes to explaining why Pagosa Springs lost, don't look at Creede Dozier. Despite the final result, he posted 13 points. Dozier has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times he's played.

Centauri pushed their record up to 21-0 with the win, which was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Pagosa Springs, their loss dropped their record down to 7-14.

Centauri didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 46-28 victory against Ignacio on the 25th. As for Pagosa Springs, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 47-44 defeat against Alamosa on the 25th.
