Baseball Recap: Gateway College Preparatory Gators vs. Lago Vista Vikings
Gateway College Preparatory was the 6-4 winner over Lago Vista when they last played one another back in March of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Gateway College Preparatory Gators fell 7-2 to the Lago Vista Vikings on Tuesday. The Gators have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Gateway College Preparatory saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Spencer Duncan, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most hits Duncan has posted since back in April of 2024.
Gateway College Preparatory's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Lago Vista, they moved to 3-3 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

As for Lago Vista, they will face off against Wimberley at 4:00 p.m. on March 19th. Wimberley is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.7 runs per game this season.
