Basketball Recap: Reagan Rivers and Terrahjah Robinson Secure Win for Chesterfield

Chesterfield's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 66-46 margin over the Central Eagles. That's more bragging rights for the Golden Rams, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Chesterfield was led to victory by Terrahjah Robinson and Reagan Rivers. Robinson posted 17 points in addition to five assists and five steals, while Rivers put up 19 points along with seven boards and three steals. Alivia Honeycutt was another key player, putting up four points along with ten rebounds and five steals.

Chesterfield smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive rebounds in three consecutive matchups.

Despite the loss, Central still got an impressive performance from Jordyn Griffin, who had 14 points in addition to five boards and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Rielyn Chambers, who posted 12 points.

Chesterfield's record now sits at 3-8. As for Central, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.

Chesterfield will head out to face off against York Prep at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Central, they will host Cheraw at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday.
