Basketball Recap: Mastery's Victory on Monday Extends Winning Streak to 11

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mastery). They breezed by the LEAP Academy Lancers to the tune of 57-5 on Monday. The Warrior have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matches by 20 points or more this season.

Brasyia Stern continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, putting up 34 points. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Diora Green, who posted six points.

The victory (which was Mastery's 11th in a row) raised their record to 15-3. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 22.0 points per game. As for LEAP Academy, they are on a 19-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Mastery has already played their next contest, a 57-5 win against LEAP Academy on the 4th. As for LEAP Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 70-8 defeat against Camden County Vo-Tech on the 3rd.
