Softball Recap: Regis Beats Central Linn for Their Fourth Straight Win

Regis put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They never let the Central Linn Cobras get on the board and left with a 16-0 win. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 20-1 win on Friday.

Azzilin Smith was excellent, scoring three runs while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. Maddie Hendricks was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

Regis hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least four batters in three consecutive matchups.

Regis pushed their record up to 4-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average this season. As for Central Linn, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4.
