Chapel Hill and Rolesville squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Chapel Hill had to settle for second. They took a 72-55 bruising from the Rolesville Rams. The Tigers' defeat signaled the end of their 16-game winning streak.

Despite the loss, Chapel Hill still got an impressive performance from Ashton Beale, who dropped a double-double with 17 points and ten boards. Beale is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in each of the last five games she's played. Another player making a difference was Stephanie Proano, who posted eight points.

Rolesville's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Caitlyn Jones led the charge by putting up 18 points. Taliya Rowe was another key player, scoring 14 points.

Chapel Hill's loss dropped their record down to 25-4. As for Rolesville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-10 record this season.

Chapel Hill does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Rolesville, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 59-45 defeat against Hoggard on the 7th.
