Volleyball Recap: Mt. Carmel Takes a Loss

The Mt. Carmel Golden Aces came up short against the Brother Rice Crusaders on Thursday and fell 2-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-14.

Mt. Carmel's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Brother Rice, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.

Mt. Carmel will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on St. Laurence at 6:00 p.m. on May 12. As for Brother Rice, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Glenbrook North on the 4th.
