Danville and Madison County pushed the score to 6-2 the last time they played Madison County, but on Tuesday defenses reigned supreme. The Hawks' defense stepped up to hand the Tigers a 1-0 shutout. Winning may never get old, but Danville sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Addie Chenault, who's now up to four this season.

Danville's victory bumped their record up to 11-6-3. As for Madison County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Danville will challenge Elkmont at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Madison County, they will look to defend their home pitch on Monday against Mae Jemison at 5:00 p.m.
