Softball Recap: Arbor View Comes Up Short

Arbor View managed to slip by Chaminade the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Arbor View Aggies lost 8-0 to the Chaminade Eagles on Thursday. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Aggies were not able to get on the board.

Arbor View saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chloe Baird, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base. That stolen base marked the first that Baird snagged this season.

Arbor View's defeat dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Chaminade, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-7 record this season.

Arbor View will challenge Reno at 8:10 a.m. on Friday. Arbor View is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.1 runs per game this season. As for Chaminade, they will take on Bishop O'Dowd at 11:40 a.m. on Friday.
