It was a good run, but Columbia unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 42-37 to the Tylertown Chiefs. The contest marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Columbia's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Tylertown, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Looking ahead, Columbia will welcome West Harrison at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Hurricanes' defense has only allowed 19.7 points per game this season, so the Wildcats' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Tylertown, they are taking a road trip to challenge Raymond at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
