Soccer Game Preview: Skyline vs. Viewmont

The Skyline Eagles will face off against the Viewmont Vikings at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with 11 consecutive losses for Skyline and three for Viewmont.

Skyline is likely headed into the contest with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Syracuse on Tuesday. The Eagles came up short against the Titans, falling 3-0. While losing is never fun, Skyline can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Utah soccer rankings (they are ranked 80th, while Syracuse are ranked second).

Meanwhile, Viewmont didn't have quite enough to beat Woods Cross on Monday and fell 2-1. That's two games in a row now that Viewmont have lost by just one goal.

Their goal came courtesy of Lucy Morris, who's now up to four this season.

Skyline's loss dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Viewmont, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-12.
