Basketball Game Preview: Rain Red Raiders vs. Williamson Lions

Rain is 2-8 against Williamson since January of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Rain Red Raiders will host the Williamson Lions at 7:30 p.m.

Rain is headed into Tuesday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their seventh straight game on Friday. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 56-54 heartbreaker at the hands of Elberta.

Meanwhile, Williamson entered their tilt with UMS-Wright Prep on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Bulldogs 65-37. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 26 points or more this season.

Williamson is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.5 points per game. As for Rain, their loss dropped their record down to 1-12.
