Recap: Mount Pisgah Christian Patriots vs. Mount Paran Christian Eagles

The Mount Pisgah Christian Patriots were the 59-50 winner over the Mount Paran Christian Eagles when they last played one another back in January of 2020, but their luck changed this time around. Mount Pisgah Christian fell 54-43 to Mount Paran Christian on Monday.

Mount Paran Christian was led to victory by Christopher Park and Jt Scott. Park scored 14 points, while Scott scored 12 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Scott has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Cameron Hewling, who scored 11 points.

Mount Pisgah Christian has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost 11 of their last 14 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season. As for Mount Paran Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mount Pisgah Christian will take on Atlanta International at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Mount Paran Christian won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Washington at 7:00 p.m. on January 16th. Washington has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 449 points over their last seven matches.
