Baseball Recap: Kennedy Memorial Takes a Loss

Kennedy Memorial lost against Piscataway back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Mustangs fell just short of the Chiefs by a score of 9-8.

Kennedy Memorial saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alex Rosario, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2. Kevin Portoreal also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Kennedy Memorial's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Piscataway, their win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 2-4.

While Kennedy Memorial had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
